Your assistance with nautical maneuvering
History
For some time now, the founders of EasYacht have noticed difficulties during nautical maneuvers, especially when mooring. The lack of crew and the lack of visibility in the cockpit make this maneuver difficult and sometimes dissuade boat owners from going out in the sea. In addition, if the weather is not good, the maneuver is all the more complicated to perform. . This is why they had the idea to enlighten these captains by offering them a third eye and thus allow them to avail the best of their ship.
Project
The EasYacht team has thought of a maneuver assistance solution for you to meet the needs of captains. Our solution would aim to materialize the environment, in real time, around the ship on a screen positioned in the cockpit and thus allow the captain to control his field of vision and simplify his maneuver. This system would also make it possible to moor your boat independently.
Details
To specify, the environment of the boat is calculated and generated thanks to the use of one or more LiDARs which make it possible to know in real time the distance separating the boat from potential obstacles in its path. An algorithm is then used to generate a 3D representation using the various data collected. They are then analyzed by our system to be able to moor your boat independently.
